Candy Jars and Containers
|
Con-tain-er - noun -
"one that contains: a receptacle (as a box or jar) for holding goods or candy."
The hunt for the perfect container begins. Fulfilling your vision of the perfect candy buffet and it's contents might become a daunting task. You can purchase new candy jars and containers or if you have time, (many months before your wedding) you can be "on the lookout" for your candy jars or containers. You will be able to find them at the strangest places. Dollar stores, thrift stores, garage sales, friends and family will let you "borrow" them. Tip: Place a smaller container upside down inside larger candy containers so you don't need as much candy.
It's seems once you set your mind to it you will start seeing them everywhere. We have a staff member in the office who collects anything to do with hedgehogs.......now when I go anywhere, it seems hedgehogs are all over the place..... go figure.
Below is just a few candy jar or containers that can be used for your candy buffet. Click on the photos to find out more information.
Tip: Tall glass cylinders will seem like more candy, and are definitely visually attractive, but hard to reach into with a metal spoon/scoop, try a long small laddle.
Looking for bulk candy to coordinate with your color scheme, or maybe Retro Candy from your past.
